Butler Ranked After Upset Over #1 Indiana

Butler Tops Hoosiers

Men’s CBB Rankings Week 7

After upsetting #1 Indiana, Butler finds themselves amongst the top teams in the country; ranked #19 in the AP Writers Poll and #25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

This win has Butler ranked at #4 in RPI and #4 in Strength of Schedule – in the country.

Arkansas transfer guard, Rotnei Clarke, led the way with a game-high 19 points (5 three-pointers).

This is now the second marquee win for Butler this season as they already upset UNC at Chapel Hill. Those are some big wins over a couple of powerhouse, tradition-rich programs.

Hopefully Butler can be convinced to stay with the A-10 (before they even play a single conference game). This is a great school with a top-flight, young coach. They will have a lot of success for years to come and will likely compete for the A-10 title every year and most likely receive at-large bids for many years to come.

I can understand if Butler leaves, but goddamn, I will hate them forever for it.
